Postage Stamp Costs

As most of you are aware, the costs of stamps will be rising as of the 30th April. You can find out more on the Royal Mail website. This announcment has led to “panic buying” of stamps now, however there is another way to reduce your costs, which is don’t send a letter unless totally nessesary.

Now more than ever it is important to consider cutting down what you are sending. As mentioned in my “Think Before you Print” post back in January 2011, we regularly get sent compliment slips with “we have paid by BACS” written on them. This is totally unessesary – just let us know via email!

Please, if everyone stopped to think, “does this need to be sent as a letter?” we could avoid so many un-needed letters, postage costs, and trees!
