Online advertising on Google and Yahoo (PPC Marketing)

Web of Knowledge Limited is pleased to offer a number of carefully managed and monitored PPC (pay per click advertising) campaign options. Unlike the "fixed cost" options you may have come across, which can sometimes prove very ineffective, we prefer to provide our clients with a transparent pricing policy enabling them to make an informed choice of the campaign strategy that best meets their requirements and budget.

Once we have the detail of key phrases you wish your site's advert to appear for, we can provide estimates of its cost and potential traffic generation, but it is only after a campaign has been online for a few weeks that sufficient accurate information becomes available to be reasonably certain of how that campaign will work, and to fine-tune it to maximise your ROI.

The tables below will give you a feel for the likely entry level costs/budget required to run online PPC campaigns, but if you have any questions, or would like to discuss your particular requirements in more detail, then don't hesitate to get in touch with us.

The Initial Cost shown below includes a deposit for clicks. Once the click usage rate for your campaign becomes apparent, then further payments will be requested/scheduled. If your "clicks payment" is used up, your campaign may be suspended until extra cleared funds have been received.

Yahoo Search Marketing campaigns are available alongside Google Adwords, please add 33% to costs. We do not currently offer a “Yahoo Search Marketing only” option, but please enquire if this is of interest to you.

  • Some strategies may not be available dependent on budget, CPC (Cost per click) and Impressions available for your particular key phrases. This is something we will discuss with you when setting the campaign up, and be in a better position to advise you regarding once the campaign has been running for a while.
  • Some campaigns may be subject to significant seasonal variations.
  • Campaign monitoring is carried out hourly (for advert appearance/position) and at least weekly for click budget reports/top-up requests.

Prices shown above are subject to review and adjustment (for new or run-on campaigns) if changes (for example by the Search Engines) mean that additional time is necessary to properly manage the campaigns.

We recommend utilising Google Analytics on your website to measure the effectiveness of traffic from your adwords campaign. If you would like us to set this up and provide guidance for you, then additional consultancy charges (£65 per hour) will apply.

IMPORTANT. If after reading this you decide expenditure on an Adwords campaign is not going to be cost effective for you, please talk to us about options to improve your website’s placement in Google’s “organic” search results which once carried out attract no ongoing cost per click.
